Nour Lejmi has obtained her Master’s degree in Politics and Economics of the Middle East from King’s College London. She has an emerging interdisciplinary profile, including her ongoing Master’s in behavioural science, political decision-making, and social transformation. Her academic work focuses on the intersection of power, cognition, and economic structures, with particular attention to democratisation and political mobilisation in the MENA region.
She aims to integrate psychological insight into political and economic analysis with the hope of reconstructing what is simply believed to be true or fact in academic terminology. Alongside her studies, she contributes to high-level policy dialogue through her position as Director of Speakers and Content at the London School of Economics and Political Science Africa Summit on Artificial Intelligence. Through this, she is able to engage with a vast African network and come up with global discussions on AI at the intersection of Africa’s governance, social change, and development.
Her research experience includes work as a Research Assistant with the University of Oxford and King’s College London, where she has developed strong analytical and methodological skills through rigorous academic projects.
Beyond academia, she has contributed to policy work for high-level meetings with European policymakers, demonstrating an ability to translate complex research into applied frameworks. She also served as Editor-in-Chief of “The Dialogue”, a university publication exploring themes of power, division, and collective identity. With a growing focus on cognitive liberation and the behavioural dimensions of political life, Nour Lejmi is building a unique profile oriented toward impactful work at the intersection of academia, policy, and international development. Above all, she believes there is no understanding systems without understanding people.
