Biography

Kamil Qadri is a Research Associate at the MEA Institute focusing on political and security developments in Turkey and the Levant. His work centres on regional conflict dynamics, migration, and the geopolitical forces shaping the Eastern Mediterranean and the broader Middle East. 
 
He is the founder and lead reporter of Exit Wounds, an independent reporting project documenting the experiences of youth living through war, displacement, and political transition across the Middle East and Europe. Through field interviews and on-the-ground reporting with displaced and refugee communities, his work examines how conflict, migration, and geopolitical change shape the lives and identities of younger generations. Qadri’s research and reporting focus on the intersection of geopolitics and human impact, particularly how regional instability affects communities on the ground and long-term social dynamics. He speaks Urdu and is conversational in Russian and Turkish.
