Ezio Sorti is a researcher and policy analyst specialising in international relations, migration and sustainable development, with a strong focus on the implementation of the Agenda 2030. He is currently a researcher at the University of Milan, where he earned a Master’s Degree in International Relations, following academic exchanges at Trinity College Dublin and Charles University in Prague that deepened his interest in cultural diplomacy and the Middle East. His work combines field experience with data-driven analysis, employing both quantitative and qualitative research methods to inform policy and practice. Through collaborations with organisations and institutions such as Oxfam, the Istanbul Policy Center, and the MEA Institute for Strategic Studies, he has developed expertise in stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and public communication. His research interests include EU–MENA relations, migration governance, sustainable development policies, and the role of interdisciplinary research in addressing complex global challenges.
